BEFORE & AFTER CARE

Before Treatment:

  • Do not wax, tweeze or pluck hairs prior to treatment. If necessary, trim with cuticle scissors.
  • Hydrate to keep your skin moist and make your treatment more effective.
  • Avoid direct sunlight (such as sunbathing) 48 hours before your appointment.
  • Clients using Accutane must discontinue use 6 months prior to treatment.
  • Avoid caffeine and sugar the day of treatment.

After Treatment:

  • Avoid direct sunlight 48 hours after treatment.
  • To avoid scarring, do not pick off scabs if they should appear.  This is a natural part of the healing process and they will fall off once the healing has completed.
  • Use of an antibiotic ointment, such as Bacitracin, will help in the healing process.
